It follows a Hunter recalling the moment when he was first taught the most important lesson of all - The Law of the Jungle, while at the same time fighting alongside a fellow Warlock and Titan as they face off with hostile Fallen and Cabal.
Transcript
- Father: "Pay attention son, this is the part of the story that is really important."
The father opens an ancient book, and begins reading from it. A Hunter is shown on a moonscape.
- Father: "Now this is the Law of the Jungle, as old and as true as the sky. The wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die."
Three Guardians, one Hunter, one Titan, and one Warlock, are seen fighting a horde of Fallen.
- Father: "As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and back;"
The three Guardians are shown again, though on Mars. They begin attacking a group of Cabal Phalanxes.
- Father: "For the strength of the pack is the wolf,"
The Hunter is shown killing the Phalanxes with Golden Gun.
- Father: "And the strength of the wolf..."
A Cabal Colossus variant with dropships in the background faces the Guardians, who prepare to attack.
- Father: "Is the pack."

- The trailer is named after Rudyard Kipling's poem of the same name.
