Defiant Battleground: EDZ is a Mission in the Defiant Battlegrounds activity that was added in Season of Defiance. The Guardian and their fireteam, assisted by Mara Sov, Devrim Kay, Mithrax, Kell of Light, and The Crow launch a rescue mission into a Shadow Legion prison located next to Firebase Hades in the European Dead Zone in order to rescue Amanda Holliday after her capture during the attack on the Traveler. She would subsequently join them on later incursions to help free the captives of the prison.
