The Scholars of the Cryptoglyph are a group of special Hive Wizards seen in the In the Deep mission along with Besurith, Daughter of Crota, where they are responsible for maintaining and guarding the Cryptoglyph within the Catacombs of the Moon. They would ambush The Guardian who pursued their key artifact with the intent of thwarting Hashladûn's plot.
