Overload Dire Knights are empowered Dire Knight Champions enhanced with heightened ability regeneration.

Gameplay[edit]

Much like other Dire Knights, these units will try to close the gap between them and their adversaries, often to deliver a powerful melee blow or strike at them with their Cleavers, all the while hitting them with their ranged weapons or Taken fire while getting closer. They also retain their ability to pull in targets with an unleashed Transverse Reed ability that will draw in any struck targets. What makes these units far more dangerous than their base counterparts is their heightened ability regeneration, allowing them to frequently teleport out of the way of dangerous attacks and utilize their abilities far more aggressively and commonly, as well as passively regenerate any lost health. In order to make them easier targets to dispose of, it is advised that Guardians utilize their artifact's Anti-Overload rounds or abilities to leave them staggered and eliminate their health regeneration abilities.
