The Nightmare of Travag, the Inferno Conductor is the Nightmare of a powerful Psion Flayer that is encountered as an optional main boss of the Takedown in the Fifth Tomb of Nezarec. It takes the form of Travag, the Inferno Conductor, elder Flayer to the Twins Vov and Vuv. Like them, he would be incarcerated in the Prison of Elders and become a follower of Bracus Lau'urc. However, he would become trapped and torn apart by Hive during the Prison Riot, the guilt something that would linger in the minds of both Vov and Vuv. When the Leviathan became haunted by the Nightmares as it established a link with the Lunar Pyramid, the Twins and their new adopted sister Vraltras, the Nova Eruption would lead a team to steal whatever tech the could salvage from the ship. During which, they would recover a Nightmare Harvester and unintentionally become haunted by the Nightmares of Travag and Vraltras's sisters Silvas and Yinix, whom she had lost during the Fall of Torobatl. Eventually, they would be rid of the Nightmares when the connection between the Leviathan and the Lunar Pyramid was severed.

However, the Nightmares would later be drawn to Essence by the ritual being conducted by Nezarec's Acolytes. The three Raiders Flayers would anonymously send a message to the Drifter requesting Guardians investigate and eliminate. Eventually, Guardians would find the Nightmare Psions after following an errant path and manage to contain the three Nightmares.
