Greetings! My name is Dante. I am a Ghost but with no Guardian. Why does that surprise you? Well, as you very well know, Guardians, citizens, we Ghosts spend years searching the solar system for warriors worthy to wield the Light to defend humanity and the Traveler from the Darkness. Some of us never find our Guardians; a few decide to choose Guardians from the living rather than the dead. I am neither one.

No, I am alone. But to fill the lonely days I have taken to helping the Vanguard with organizing their archives, utilizing my memory storage to clear away clutter and/or update outdated information. Many such Ghosts who don't find a Guardian often lend their aid to the Vanguard. Did I ever tell you Cayde is as disorganized as a Reaver Dreg? His library is a mess! knives and melting engrams everywhere! Master Rahool was so very disappointed in him when I brought this in the open. So was Ikora. Well, she too is disorganized, but that is another story. Needless to say Cayde has never forgiven me since.
A little about myself. I joined Destinypedia in May of 2016, right around when The Taken King had dropped earlier in 2015. My reasons for joining this wiki were simple, at the time -- the [[Strike]] walkthroughs were either low-information or nonexistent. I was determined to change that, and so I did. This single-mindedness led me to touch nearly every mainspace page (e.g. article) on the wiki.  


Anyhow, my ramblings aside, I am here to serve the City in whatever capacity I can. One day, I'll find my Guardian, but until then I better make myself useful. I just hope to the Traveler I never have to go to Mars…
Unfortunately I had to stop playing Destiny right around the time Rise of Iron dropped in late 2016, both because I used my brother's PS3 and my brother's grades were failing and parents restricted it permanently. But I stayed on in spite of this, continuing to edit and add onto the wiki. My greatest achievements are single-handedly uploading nearly all of the Rise of Iron Grimoire and beginning the overhaul of my now favorite page, Destinypedia's [[Books of Sorrow]] Cliff Notes, among other Hive-related pages.

===Description===
After a brief dropout in late 2017 because of Destiny 2's release, I continued to edit, mainly old stuff but also keeping an eye on the new. For most of 2018 until July I had been absent from the wiki and occasionally dropping bye to make a few edits on my Watched pages. I did not approve of Curse of Osiris but found Warmind to be an excellent breath of air, in spite of... lackluster storytelling and content; and, of course, fan backlash. I am contemplating buying Destiny 2 once Forsaken drops, just to see how it'll live up.


I'll spare you what others have said about Ghosts and tell you straight up. We have a uniform design and shape, as we're born of the Traveler itself, but several of us can be of any size from ping pong ball to baseball-size. I don't know of any Ghosts that are Servitor sized, but should we happen to get a Eliskni (ahem, "Fallen") Guardian—ha! imagine that!—that will unfortunately remain in obscurity.  
As of post-Forsaken I have decided I won't be playing D2 because I have IRL responsibilities, but I'll edit and read the lore as often as I can. I may eventually buy Destiny 2, but my real heart belongs to the original Destiny game.


My basic form is a "baseball" in shape, but a little smaller, but don't get any ideas. I may delight in describing myself in such lowly terms but I will not be used in games. Now, what was I saying… oh yes. Like all other Ghosts I have a shell, except mine is what is called a "[http://i.imgur.com/O8UM220.jpg Mythological shell]". This is [https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/45klj7/vault_of_glass_ghost_shell_concepts/ courtesy of] a Guardian who braved the Vault of Glass and managed to get the Gorgons' designs locked into his head. I know of quite a few Ghosts who look like mini-Gorgons. Nearly gave Master Rahool a heart-attack one night, but that is another story for another time.
