The Infinite Forest is a location accessible in the Fields of Glass, Mercury. It is a simulation of the universe which the Vex created to plan their actions in reality. Every time a Guardian enters the gateway to Forest, they enter the simulated universe at a different point in time, and can witness Mercury in the past, the present, and a grim potential future where the Sun has died and the Vex have triumphed.^[1]
