Veilweaver Wizards are a Major variant of Hive Wizards employed by the Lucent Hive to conduct a ritual within the depths of the New Pacific Arcology.

Gameplay

Veilwaver Wizards are encountered as part of the first encounter of the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon. After a player acquires the Vestige of Light of a slain Hive Lightbearer, a Veilweaver Wizard will appear near the central ritual fountain. The Wizards must be quickly slain in order to reveal a Deepsight cloud, which will allow the players to see the hidden hive statues around the fountain. Depositing the Vestige in the correct statue will progress the encounter. If the players cannot slay the Veilweaver before the Vestige's timer runs out, the Wizard will dematerialize.
