Malignant Motebearers are a variant of Hobgoblin encountered in the Consecrated Mind encounter of the Pantheon.

Gameplay

At random points during the encounter, a Malignant Motebearer will spawn at the varying relay points across the arena, they pose a similar challenge to most Hobgoblins, though their high durability and powerful Torch Hammer adds a degree of difficulty to a fight against one. Once defeated, the Malignant Motebearer will drop 5 motes, these motes can then be deposited at the center of the arena to further the progression toward the Consecrated Mind's damage phase.
