Esteemed Psions are a Major variant of the Cabal Psion. In the Shadow Legion, they are distinguishable by their white armor with brightly colored trims. In the Red Legion, they can be identified by their golden armor. They are more resilient and aggressive, and are more heavily armed, also wielding Cabal Slug Shotguns alongside the Cabal Headhunters that are seen with Minor Psions.
