Proxies are powerful Vex-simulated creatures created to lead scores of their copied brethren.

Overview

Most are identifiable by the digital red aura that surrounds them, though some lack it. Proxies were numerous in the Infinite Forest, where they acted indistinguishably from their real counterparts, though the existence of some locked off the paths of the Forest. These Proxies had some degree of self-direction, as some managed to break free from Panoptes's control, and wreaked havoc across the Infinite Forest.

Variants were later utilized during the Endless Night to defend the Vex Network from Guardian infiltration.
