Nomination rules

• Neutral votes are unneeded; a simple yes or no would suffice.
• Remember to use the Support and Oppose templates.
• Each nomination will be open for one week. If it is approved, then there will be a one week waiting period before another article can be nominated. If the votes are split with no consensus by the end of the week, then the nomination will remain open for a second week before a final decision.
• Three votes, two by administrators, are the minimum amount of support required to approve the article. If the votes for support beat the votes to oppose by seven votes, the article will be immediately approved without having to wait the rest of the week.
• After nominating an article, place the featured article nomination template on the article's page.
• If an article is not approved for featuring, it must wait one month before it can be nominated again.

Cabal (Approved)

Reason: This is an extremely comprehensive and well-constructed article based on what we know from the Cabal Grimoire cards, Guardian equipment, and various quotes and mission dialogues, especially given that they are one of the least known races in Destiny compared to others like the Hive and the Fallen; even the Vex, as alien as they are, have more stuff to their name than the Cabal. In light of all this, the article has been well-sourced, full of images, and illustrative quotes heading each section.

Dreadnaught (Approved)

Reason: After a complete and thorough reconstruction spanning two days, the Dreadnaught is now fully sourced and filled with images, and has a proper template outfitting it in addition to all of the prerequisite sections filled out, including: article introduction, history, design, interior, activities, and trivia.

Books of Sorrow (Approved)

Reason: Thanks to the collaborative efforts of several users this page has become a true article worthy of recognition. According to the Special:LongPages it is just under 4000 bytes smaller than the actual Grimoire Books of Sorrow, yet is fantastically well-written and comprehensive after numerous revisions. Designed to be a "Cliffs notes", this article fulfils that purpose by describing in laymen terms what is happening in the Books, allowing both the casual fan and experienced "loremaster" to find their way around.

It contains a short summary with link brackets to each section for easier navigation; a roster for describing the various characters and other entities which have prominence in the Books; the synopsis itself, and a Trivia section which in addition to describing interesting things also contains a section which explains many of the hard-to-understand or unfamiliar terms that have become synonymous with Destiny lore. Its main source has been linked in the very top of the article for people wanting to read the transcript for themselves, so that fulfils citation requirements.

Emperor Calus

Reason: I feel that this character makes up a lot of the Leviathan raid lore and also makes up a large part of the main story lore, detailing Ghaul's rise to power and his betrayal of Calus. It also gives a large amount of information about the Cabal species, their social structure, what the citizens do, what the cities are like and Cabal politics, a field vastly unknown. As more raid- exclusive items come out, more people will want to know about Calus. It also details his gameplay and is a helpful guide for the final Leviathan boss fight. I feel that this is essential for people who want to know more about Destiny 2's main villain, Ghaul, and the shadowy Cabal emperor with a ship that is actively consuming Nessus. --—This unsigned comment was made by HeraldofNokris (talk • contribs). • Oppose - The Calus Page does not meet Destinypedia's requirements to be classified as a Featured article. Further, Featured Articles are meant to showcase pages that best represent the effort, precision, and quality of the wiki. So far, very few pages meet those requirements. • Oppose - I have similar thoughts to what Arcmind has brought up. Calus may have a lot of information in his page but he lacks images and a detailed summary. Humanity (Approved)

Reason: In an attempt to set a new wiki standard I think this page does a good job of showcasing a completed page with all info in a finetuned way that does not leave much else to be added unless something big comes our way. Uldren Sov

Reason: With the release of Forsaken, a lot of information that describes our good friend's activities up until the Red War has been revealed. This page gives insights in all of this, as well as in Uldren's personality and the motives of his actions. It also meets all the requirements for a Featured Article, and with its current image, I think it would really good on the Main Page. The Traveler

Reason: The Traveler is one of the most important characters in all of Destiny and one of the greatest reasons we were resurrected. The article on the Traveler is well made and has lots of important information, citations, and links to different sources, plus helping new users to Destinypedia understand the Traveler better.

House of Salvation

Reason: One of the best edited Fallen faction pages. Decorated with high quality gifs and images. The faction will play a prominent role in the Beyond Light expansion.

Blood of Oryx

Reason: Recently revamped page by me which I supported with a incredible amount of references and gifs and images to improve the look of the page.

Fallen

Reason: One of the best and most extensive pages in the wikia. I've done a lot of work to improve this article and supported it various gifs and images. I've also organised the minor characters to their respective factions which I've also done with the Hive page. I've cleaned up the page and removed the variants that were making the page look very messy among other things. Lore wise is it one of the most complete pages.

Skyburners

Reason: I recently reworked this article which was in a poor state. I upscaled the gallery section and then wrote the whole History section that was missing. Key events such as The Taken War are discussed and aided by gifs and images to better tell the story to the readers. There's also little tidbits of lore in the quotes. I've supported the article with all the possible references available for it in game and the Infobox banner has been created by User:Northern Epsilon who did a fantastic job in creating a professional banner for the Legion. The page is now on par in quality with the Red Legion.
