The Consul is a Cabal political leader and the mentor of Dominus Ghaul. He is the secondary antagonist of Destiny 2.
Biography
Thousands of years prior to Destiny, the Consul advised Dominus Ghaul in a military coup against Calus, ending his reign.
During the closing stages of the Cabal invasion of the Last City, aboard The Immortal, The Consul approached Dominus Ghaul as he was interrogating The Speaker, reporting that the Traveler was secure, and the remaining Guardian forces had been executed within The Last City.
Traits
The Consul is a large Cabal sporting heavy but poorly-maintained armor, with red paint worn away in some places to reveal gunmetal backing, and a ragged black cape. He does not wear a helmet, and his arms are completely exposed. Additionally, The Consul sports metal covers over his fingertips.
Trivia
- The Consul is considered a lifelong friend by Ghaul.
- The Consul is voiced by Frank Langella.[1]
- The Consul is the sixth overall antagonist observed speaking English, and the second Cabal to be seen doing so.
- The Consul is the only Cabal character whose face is completely revealed, unlike Dominus Ghaul who bears a mask that covers his lower face.
