Balvog, Shield of Oryx is a Taken Knight who serves as the boss of the Dread Patrol quest. He attacks the Guardian with a force of various Taken in the Trenchway of the Dreadnaught.
Gameplay
Balvog tries to stop the Guardian from planting patrol beacons on the Dreadnought. He tries to stop them with his Boomer and his ability to both teleport and fire Solar jets, but he is ultimately defeated and the Guardian establishes a secure connection with the Vanguard.
