Malevolent Blades are rampant Hive Darkblades seen in the final encounter of the In the Deep Story Mission. They spawn once The Guardian steals the Cryptoglyph and are forced to run, when these Knights are called upon to chase after them and re-secure the Cryptoglyph back into Hive hands.

Trivia

• When Shadowkeep first released, the Malevolent Blades did not posses a helmet.
  • In the Out of the Shadows ViDoc, the Malevolent Blades can be seen with their helmets.
  • After the release of Beyond Light, Malevolent Blades now can be found with helmets on, hinting that this might've been a bug.
