The Red Sea Rift Concepts section of M.I.N.D. features entries related to the Red Sea Rift.

Sentinel's Hand[edit]

A limb that broke off from the Sentinel. When activated, it can shield Veridia with a barrier of Light.

It's speculated that this hand was torn from the Sentinel's body during its battle with the unknown creature. For a long time, the arm was seen only as an interesting landmark of the Red Sea Rift. When the Cabal invaded, though, Saladin keenly took note of the connection between the shield generator in Sentinel's hand and the Light while wielding the Light in combat himself. Later on, the Sentinel's Light barrier was activated using Radiancite, giving Veridia a huge advantage in the battles to come.

Gareth's Lantern[edit]

An ancient artifact resembling a lantern.

During a mining operation, two miners discovered a strange glowing object in a cave in the Red Sea Rift. They placed the object into a handheld lantern and gifted it to Gareth, who was still lord of the Red Sea Rift at the time.

Illusion-Generating Psions[edit]

Psions guarding something in the Weathered Caves who have the ability to generate illusions.

Zev believes it's highly unlikely the Canal mastered this level of data visualization technology without having come into contact with some sort of external network.

Strange Box[edit]

A mysterious object guarded by a group of Cabal in the Weathered Caves.

This cube-like floating object features patterns that match the sealed door of the Weathered Caves. Harrow speculates that whatever lord behind the door drew the Cabal here. Can this box be "opened?" Is the item inside the "key" to that sealed door? Harrow took the box without offering much explanation. Was this the real reason she went into the caves? Did she know about the box all along?

Entropy Vibration Tower[edit]

A device capable of emitting shockwaves matching those emitted by Sentinel armor, breaking through it via resonance.

Buhr's Sentinel armor uses a special energy defense system. Fortunately, Donovan-17's entropy vibration tower, which he made using a Cabal phase converter, could disable it.

Metal Phage Nanobots[edit]

A type of self-aware, self-adaptive, and self-organizing nanobot controlled by electronic signals.

By receiving programming instructions, these robot clusters can consume and decompose the vast majority of metals. Evidence suggests this technology was used in the early Golden Age to process space debris in Earth's orbit.

Not long ago, the Sand Eaters discovered multiple arsenals hidden beneath the Red Sea Rift, and inside them were tons of nanobot-equipped missiles. They plan to transport these weapons elsewhere in preparation for another round of attacks on humanity.

Mysterious Cargo[edit]

File 1[edit]

Strange cargo being escorted by the Cabal.

The Cabal dug this object up in the drilling zone. They treat it with great importance, even assigning an escort to bring the "cargo" back. To put an end to the threat at its root, Wolf intercepted the cargo from the garrisoned Cabal. Upon finding it, Zev discovered it was being kept in a box made from a unique material that prevents her from scanning to see what is inside.

File 2[edit]

Strange cargo being escorted by the Cabal.

After seizing the box, something strange happened: Wolf and Zev found themselves trapped in an endless loop. Just as they were at wits' end, an unfamiliar Lightbearer appeared and told them this was a trap set by an Ahamkara. It turns out the mysterious cargo was part of an Ahamkara's spine, which had tricked Wolf into making a wish and resulted in the Lightbearer being trapped.

Spiteful Whisper[edit]

The remains of a dead Ahamkara. To this day, it still speaks of its lingering resentment.

Estela wields this skeleton as her Relic. Due to the unique, magical nature of the Ahamkara, Estela has been plagued by auditory and visual hallucinations ever since her Light merged with the Relic. A pretentious, mysterious, and inflammatory voice is always whispering in her ears, telling her things she wouldn't otherwise be privy to.
