Peripheral Watchers are Sol Divisive Imp Swarms encountered in the Gauntlet of VII reprisal of the Consecrated Mind encounter in the Garden of Salvation. After a Voltaic Overflow is acquired when an Enlightened player is present, these units will attempt to sacrifice alongside a Central Watcher, with one of these units required and safe to be destroyed by the Enlightened player before they can make their sacrifice.

Gameplay

Upon a player picking up a Voltaic Overflow from the Consecrated Mind while an Enlightened player is presently defending the Vex Relay from assault, a Peripheral Watcher and a Central Watcher will spawn in, making their way to the Relay to sacrifice and immediately invoke a wipe. Each of them corresponds to an eye on the Consecrated Mind's faceplates, with the Central Watcher corresponding to the innermost ones and the Peripheral Watcher corresponding to the outermost ones. The Enlightened player must listen in on the team focused with gathering Voltaic Overflows and destroy the Imp Swarm that correlates to the eye; if the wrong Imp Swarm's shield is destroyed, they will instantly kill the Enlightened player that shot them.
