Cayde's Will is an Exotic Quest given by Banshee-44 released in the Forsaken expansion and can be acquired following the completion of the Last Call Story mission. In it, Banshee tasks The Guardian with tracking down Cayde-6's stashes in order to find parts to repair the broken weapon and gather Cayde's journals and final messages to his friends, colleagues, and enemies.
With the release of Beyond Light, the quest would be sunset.

- Banshee-44: Memory ain't so good these days. But Cayde… Never forget Cayde. Hunter through and through. Left all his worldly possessions to whoever finally took him down. Don't know about you. But. Rather lose every last memory in my head than know that little prince holds Cayde's prized cannon: the Ace of Spades. You gotta promise me. Put Uldren in the ground. And get the Ace of Spades back. If anyone should have the Ace… S'you.

Take the Broken Ace of Spades to Banshee-44
- Return to Banshee-44
- Banshee-44: You did it. Ace's yours now. I'm glad. Cayde would be glad too. But Ace… Ace is in rough shape. Ain't seen this kinda corrosion since… since… Can't remember. Anyhow… Cayde woulda kept spare parts in his own personal loot stashes. Yours too, now, by rights. Track 'em down, bring me the parts. We'll get this piece purring again.
Banshe-44's eyes burn brightly as he speaks of repairing the Ace of Spades. But he can't do it alone. He'll need some biorhythmic data from you—and some part from the secret stashes Cayde hid across the system.

(Original release) Get 5 invasion kills with a Hand cannon in Gambit to collect the biorhythmic data Banshee needs to tune the Ace of Spades to your hand.

(Updated version) To collect the biorhythmic data that Banshee needs to tune the Ace of Spades to your hand, defeat enemies and invaders with Hand Cannons in Gambit matches. Defeated invaders count more towards this quest step.

Eliminate 250 enemies in Strikes with a Hand Cannon to collect the biorhythmic data Banshee needs to tune the Ace of Spades to your hand.

In any Crucible playlist, defeat opponents with precision final blows from any Hand Cannon to collect the biorhythmic data Banshee needs to tune the Ace of Spades to your hand.

Search the solar system for Cayde's personal caches.
- Find the cache on Io.
- Find the cahce on Nessus.
- Find the cache on the Tangled Shore.
- Find the cache on Earth.

Each chest rewards a Note from Cayde.[1][2][3][4]
Step 6[edit]
Cayde's personal cache is on Titan. Fight your way back into the Arcology to claim the parts you need to repair the Ace of Spades by completing mission "Ace in the Hole".

Bring the recovered Ace of Spades parts back to Banshee-44 in the Tower.

- Banshee-44: All parts in place. Ace of Spades is good as new, now. Take it. When you wield it, remember… Remember… Now wait a minute… Hey… have you seen Cayde around lately?
Banshee's old hands rove over the Ace of Spades, sliding new pieces into place, closing a polished unscored chassis over its perfectly tuned mechanisms. It's done. The Ace of Spades is yours.
