Val Parthus, Coalition Ally is a Cabal Incendior and a Bracus of the Imperial Cabal. They twice accompanied Empress Caiatl to the Underbelly of the Derelict Leviathan when she went in there to challenge the Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul.

Overview

Val Parthus wears armor that appears similar in design to the kind worn by the Blood Guard Incendiors of the Red Legion, but dark-grey and blue with golden lining, instead of red. A large symbol of the Cabal Ascendancy covers their chest plate. Like other Incendior units, they utilize a Magma Launcher, which is connected to a giant tanker that sits on their back, and their shoulder armor is outfitted with flame exhausts. Their lower arms are completely bare, lacking any kind of protection.

Parthus can be found fighting alongside Bracus Lume within the Leviathan's Underbelly in the final two Sever Missions: Rage and Resolve. In both missions, you will run into them at the Engineering Bay after fighting through a few corridors packed with Loyalists and drop down a hole to reach them. After you have reached the two Coalition Allies, you must assist them in clearing the bay of the incoming hordes Cabal and Scorn enemies. Once they have all been eliminated, set down an amplifier in the Egregore matter so you and Caiatl's guards can push forward. After you drop down into the Ventilator, you will meet up with Optus Ulios. However, neither you nor your Cabal allies will be able to proceed any further, due to a large energy barrier blocking your path. In order to lower it, you must head into the Engine Room, where the Unrelenting Nightmare has caused a containment lockdown to come into affect. You will be forced to activate the incineration chamber by pulling several levers throughout the area, so you can lure the Nightmare into the chamber and burn it to death. Once this is done, the lockdown will be lifted, allowing you to lower the barrier and push onward to Caiatl's position, along with her soldiers. In Resolve, large numbers of Scorn will spawn in the airshaft, attempting to stop you from making it to your objective. Your allies will stop just short of the final boss arena, waiting at the entrance while you take on the Nightmare of Ghaul.
