The Traveler's Chosen is an exotic sidearm in the Season of Arrivals that can be acquired by completing both parts of the Exodus quest. It is an exotic version of the Traveler's Chosen, the first weapon acquired in Destiny 2 prior to the release of Shadowkeep. It does not appear as pristine as the weapon it is based on, nor as worn as the damaged version.
Perks
Intrinsic: Gathering Light - Final blows with this weapon grant stacks of gathering light. Hold [Reload]: Consume stacks, granting melee, grenade, and class ability energy based on the number of stacks.
Column 1: Sight - Quickdot SAS - Agile sidearm sight.
- Greatly increases handling speed
- Slightly increases stability
Column 2: Magazine - Armor Piercing Rounds - Rounds cause extra damage to combatant's shields and over-penetrate targets.
- Slightly increases range
Column 3: Trait - Gift of the Traveler - Each stack of gathering light improves this weapon's reload, handling, and target acquisition.
Column 4: Stock - Short Action Stock - This weapon is especially easy to grip.
- Greatly increases handling speed
