The Shadows of Yor are a group of Guardians who idolize the infamous Dredgen Yor to the point that they utilize replicas of Yor's signature weapon, Thorn, and have adopted new names in honor of him; most disturbingly, they have even explained away his terrible misdeeds by claiming it was all a lie, that he turned because he had no choice.[1] Their ultimate goal is become as close to him as possible without falling to corruption.[1]
Although they assert that their Thorns have been cleansed of any influence of the Darkness, the Shadows of Yor have begun exhibiting increasingly strange behavior,[2] including ignoring objectives in the Crucible and killing other Guardians during matches seemingly for the pleasure of killing. The Vanguard and Shin Malphur are monitoring the Shadows' activities.[3][4][5][6][7]
