Praetorian

Praetorians are champions of the Vex, charged with the task of protecting the legendary Vault of Glass. Towering above other Vex they have reinforced void shields and use the standard Minotaur weapon, the torch hammer. A variation of the Minotaur, they are a serious threat to any Guardian. Praetorians are first encountered at the beginning of the Vault of Glass. While Guardians are raising the spire, they will emerge and attempt to disrupt them from doing so by taking control of the sync plates. They appear again later in the raid once the Gatekeeper has been reached. They will again, try to stop any Guardian from holding a sync plate. [citation needed]
