The House of Vipers are a Fallen House, distinguishable by their Black and dark Green cloaks/armors.

Originally this House was one of the eight noble Houses within The Sol System, before the Taken War. The Vipers were known for their cunning and trickery, which was known to match that of the House of Kings. But now are currently more of a amalgamation of Remnants from Kings, Scorpions, Dusk, Kell's Scourge and many more, seeking revenge and destruction against all of those who pushed their kind to extinction; mainly Hive, Vex, and Humanity.

The Swordsman's Arrival

Some time after the events of Season of Vipers, the House of Vipers came under attack by the Shadowkeepers. During Kirito and Asuna's rise to power, while most of the members pledged their allegiance to the Shadowkeepers' House of Shadows, those who escaped the onslaught found refuge within Nessus, where they set up shop, hoping to rebuild the House of Vipers.
