Louis is a Peregrine Falcon, and is the animal companion of Guardian associate Suraya Hawthorne.

- Louis is the first named animal character in the Destiny series.
- There was a glitch involving Louis in the first year of Destiny 2. When the player accessed Hawthorne's vendor screen, Louis would occasionally start vibrating rapidly.[citation needed] What caused this glitch to occur is unknown, but it has since been patched. This glitch was later referenced during the Dawning in-game event in 2017, where the player could gift Hawthorne with Ornithological Sedatives.[citation needed]
- This glitch has occasionally reappeared across the years and seems here to stay, even affecting other characters like Zavala and Eva Levante.[citation needed] Though it is far rarer to see compared to the near guaranteed occurrence during 2017.
