Clovis II worked in his father's company along with the majority of his family. He married Sylvie Bray and had Alton, Willa and Elsie with her. At one point, he engaged in an extramarital affair that resulted in the birth of Anastasia; Sylvie decided to raise the child as her own, but terrified the destructive behaviour she exhibited at a young age had been inherited from Clovis, kept her in the dark about her true lineage.

Clovis II was being genetically "advanced" by his father throughout his life, one such attempt intending to allow him to no longer require sleep.
