Squires are unique Hive Acolytes. They are acolytes apprenticing under Wizards and Knights, most commonly they will be seen acting as underlings for Brood Enforcers and Brood Handmaidens. However, they can be found elsewhere. They come equipped with the Bane known as Drain to show their introduction into advanced Hive Arcana.

Trivia

• When present in the the Hidden Swarm or Foresworn Brood, the Squire's colors are swapped to match the brood. What it wears in the images is for the Blood of Oryx which should be a dark purple but these guys are outliers and mark themselves to show they are aspiring Knights or Wizards.
