Brood Handmaidens are a class of Hive Wizard. They serve as assistant field commanders when defending nests or selecting a nesting ground. They are most of the time inside these nests as nurses assisting their Brood Mother and Brood Queen superiors. When out and about they are often accompanied by several guards in the form of Acolytes, Brood Enforcers, and Squires but not as much as Brood Mothers and Brood Queens as unlike their superiors, Brood Handmaidens are expendable just like their guards.
