The Praefectus is a unique high ranking unit commonly found within the Golden Legion.

Gameplay

Praefecti are commonly seen in pairs but are rarely seen on the battlefield. They possesses powerful medium range Cabal Lancer that functions like a faster firing Slug Rifle. They also possess a powerful Incendiary Grenade that can create a small burning field. Their durability is equivalent to that of a Colossus and will take a lot of firepower to take out. Whenever one of the two Praefecti are defeated, this will enrage the other Praefectus in which they will change their tactics by charging at enemies and use the blade of Lancer as a melee weapon.
