Dreadfang is a Legendary Taken-themed Sword given to The Guardian by Variks, The Loyal after they slew Malok, Pride of Oryx. It is obtained from the quest At The Gates.
The Sword would be brought back in Season of the Lost as an Exotic. It is obtained as a random award after completing the Takedown in the Nastareth's Hall.

- Sword Strike: Use to attack with the sword.
- Tempered Light: Increased Armor when wielding the sword.
- Void-Forged Guard: Use to guard. Effective against Arc and Solar attacks, less effective against Void attacks.
- Scabbard: Increases Sword Ammo Capacity.
- Will of Light: This weapon deals bonus damage against Taken enemies.
