Ayrin was a Lightbearer in the Dark Age that was part of a crew with the Drifter, Otto and Thalia.

Biography

Aryin and his crew took part in a raid on a supply bunker belonging to a Warlord known as The Wake. After Thalia had taken out the lookout, she called in Ayrin, who brought in their escape vehicle in the form of a heavy bomber. As Drifter and Otto loaded the back, they came under attack from The Wake's remaining forces, who didn't possess the Light. In response, Aryin stood up in the craft's open-roof cockpit and called forth an Arc Soul to cut them down. Ayrin also shot at them with his weapon, out of fun. He would leave his Arc Soul to handle the attackers while he and his crew escaped.

Sometime later, Ayrin, Otto, and Thalia later went behind the Drifter's back and worked with Warlord Rience, who the Drifter disliked and had told them to break off their association with. They were joined by two other Lightbearers, Cenric and Jaak. As they all drank with the Drifter in a bar, the Drifter confronted them about their treachery and revealed he had seen them meeting with Rience within his valley territory. The group attempted to deny it, but the Drifter drew his weapon and declared there was only one thing to do with rats.
