There they slowly starved, cut off from any hosts from which to siphon power through the [[Anthem Anatheme]]. Xita, the Nurturing Worm is the mother of the Worm Gods. Trivia
- Xita is the largest Worm seen in Destiny so far, easily outclassing Xol, Will of the Thousands in size. Though he has not yet been seen, one of Xita's deceased children, Akka, the Worm of Secrets is said to had been far larger than her, as a segment of his corpse was used by Oryx, the Taken King to craft his Dreadnaught.
- Xita is so far the only confirmed female worm.
