Lectern of Enchantment

The Lectern of Enchantment is a vendor station on the Moon in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, which offers essence quests that provide Luna-themed gear upon their completion as wells as bounties related to Nightmare Hunts.

Lore

The Lectern of Enchantment is made from a Hive Cryptoglyph stolen from the daughters of Crota and a table used by Eris Morn to cleanse Nightmare Essences found on Luna. It is used to craft the Dreambane Armor set the Guardian needs to bypass The Lunar Pyramid's warding in addition to Luna-themed weaponry. The Guardian can spend Glimmer at the Lectern to convert it into a Phantasmal Fragment when can then be converted into a Phantasmal Core, which allows them to reuse Nightmare Essences to be cleansed upon returning to the Lectern of Enchantment.

Cleansing this Essence will grant a piece of gear. Defeat Nightmares throughout the solar system to cleanse this Essence. Lost Sector bosses grant the most efficient progress. Nightmares can be found in Lost Sectors in the EDZ and on Nessus. Nightmares defeated on the Moon grant no progress.
