:::Yes, there is that, and Shanks tend to be [[Solar]]-shielded, so up against the Tank they'd be toast. The Fallen Walker is slow and clumsy -- as far as we've seen -- while the Goliath is fast and nimble. But it an unfair contest anyway because the Cabal are a professional military, a few "scout-legions" that were exiled from their homeworlds when they went to war, and massive warships and carriers that transports hundreds upon thousands of their troops and equipment. Meanwhile, the Fallen are barely scraping along, trying their damndest to reclaim the Great Machine, throwing everything they have at the [[Last City]] and generally wasting their strength. Meanwhile the Cabal don't even care about the Traveler. It would be a short battle anyway. Now, if Skolas ''had'' been able to rally every House to his banner, and focused on rebuilding their former glory, then the Walker would perhaps be much different than the broken down versions we've been facing. I believe the Fallen Walker will have a slight advantage with its Shanks against the Tank. I suppose the anti-personnel turrets of the Goliath Tank would deal with them quickly but as we've seen in fighting the Walker can summon large numbers of them. That would give them an edge. Too many smaller targets to hit. Dante the Ghost (talk) 12:42, 11 June 2016 (EDT)

But the Goliath can find ways around that. For one, it can move extremely quickly for a tank, so it can simply avoid them. And even if the Shanks could catch up to it, the Tank has two other mechanics that can eliminate Shanks in addition to the machine gun turrets. If the Shanks get too close, the Goliath could send out a jet of energy at them to set them on fire, or it could also use flak turrets to strike them if they pass overhead. Just a thought. Yes, there is that, and Shanks tend to be Solar-shielded, so up against the Tank they'd be toast. Meanwhile, the Fallen are barely scraping along, trying their damndest to reclaim the Great Machine, throwing everything they have at the Last City and generally wasting their strength. Meanwhile the Cabal don't even care about the Traveler. It would be a short battle anyway. Now, if Skolas had been able to rally every House to his banner, and focused on rebuilding their former glory, then the Walker would perhaps be much different than the broken down versions we've been facing.
