Ekrinov, the Creator is an Ascendant Hive Acolyte of the Shrouded Swarm. Prior to his defection to the swarm, Ekrinov was a member of Xivu Arath's Horde, where he was treated harshly despite his attributes. Artistic and intelligent, Ekrinov has created many weapons and artifacts that have become staples of hive technology.

Early Life[edit]
Born from an unnamed Brood Queen in Xivu Arath's Horde, Ekrinov became fascinated by weaponry and the art of tactical battle at a young age. The young acolyte began to create makeshift rifles and cleavers, but his talent wouldn't show itself until he was approached by a Knight and asked to make an Ascendant Blade. The young boy spent days making the blade, but when it was finished, the Knight was stunned by its delicacy. Ekrinov swiftly became renowned throughout the Horde for his skills.
Word about Ekrinov reached Xivu Arath, where she was requested by the High Celebrant to consider making him one of her champions. She protested the idea and lashed out on the High Celebrant, questioning why she should care about an acolyte. Xivu demanded Ekrinov be shunned by the rest of the Horde, to never hear his name be spoken ever again.
