Dark Ether is a corrupted variant of Ether used and manufactured by the Scorn. Claimed to have been infused with the Darkness itself, this substance is seemingly the source of the Scorn's strange powers. Most notably, the Scorn Baron known as the Fanatic can use the substance to resurrect dead Eliksni and Scorn, including himself.
Resurrected individuals appear to be able to survive without a head, as shown by Ravagers and Abominations. Repeated resurrection appears to have a physical toll on the user, leading to progressive growth of tumor-like growths and increasing mental derangement.
