Cradle of Damnation is a chasm deep below Sorrow's Harbor only accessible during the Pit of Heresy Dungeon. It is where Guardians fight the main boss of the dungeon, Zulmak, Instrument of Torment.
Architecture[edit]
The area is accessible through a long bridge leading from the Harrow section of The Pit, passing over a chasm to the compound of three towers surrounding a large platform in the middle. A raid banner can be placed on the bridge, before the player jumps down to start the encounter. The architecture here looks like other structures put up by the Hidden Swarm (most notably The Scarlet Keep) - the towers are crimson-red, covered in spikes and crowned with long spires. In each tower a mini-boss can be found: Might, Omen and Oracle of the Broken Blade. Between them, there is an open space where an enormous crystal sits, with the main boss kneeling next to it.
Trivia[edit]
- Standing on the bridge where the raid banner can be placed, it is possible to see the Necropolis high above when the player looks up and to the right.
