They managed to breach a section but were captured by Commander [[Hallam Fen]], Rife's protégé. Pirsis decided to attack in his footsteps to take advantage of the confusion, and reached Kaliks-4's cell. However, she was delayed by Imogen Rife who destroyed the Servitor rather than it be freed. In revenge Pirsis killed Rife and fled.<ref name="Weksis"/>
