A Frontline Optus is an Elite Psion Optus sent by Maya Sundaresh to protect two of her Sol Sentinels, the Putrid Centurion and Malefic Colossus.

Gameplay

Frontline Opti spawn in once either the Putrid Centurion or Malefic Colossus reach half health signified by the text "Maya Sundaresh watches over her Sol Sentinel." Upon this text appearing and the boss's immunity shield being activated, nine Frontline Opti will spawn in in several fixed areas near the front of Lords' Watch, however they quickly cloak and cannot be interacted with. To make them vulnerable, Guardians must stand in the circle that appears on the ground around several Confluxes that appear. Each Conflux disguises three Opti and after being hacked, the Psions are vulnerable for five seconds before re-cloaking. The Frontline Opti each have a psionic shield around them that protects from all damage outside of it, requiring Guardians to get within melee range to deal damage to them.

Upon the deaths of all nine Frontline Opti, their master's immunity shield will collapse, allowing for the continuation of the encounter.
