The Dreaming City is the ninth mission of Chapter 4 of the New Light campaign released a few weeks into Season of Defiance, and picks up from where the New Lights left off in Revelation.

Objectives

• Find the Cabal Commander
  • Pursue a Cabal researcher deep into this strange place.
• Escape the Ascendant Realm
  • The Cabal was Taken, and has cast you into the ascendant plane! Survive the assault.
• Explore the Spine
  • The Taken Commander can't be far. Investigate the Spine of Keres.
• Destroy the Taken
  • Purge the Taken forces and clear the way into the Observatory.
• Aid the Awoken
  • Rendezvous with the Corsairs and aid them however your can.
• Defeat Xelkuraa, Fanatic's Rage
  • Repel the Scorn attackers, and lay low their commander.
