Resonance Insulators are Elite Cyclops units encountered in the Gauntlet of VIII rendition of the Substratum encounter. Effectively serving as specialized watchdog units, these sentient turrets serve as situationally dangerous add units for the Fireteam to be concerned about.

Gameplay

As the Guardians begin bouncing charges between Resonant Conductors, and thus start generating resonances, these units will show up in the rooms these players are in to attempt to annihilate them with a blast from their eyes. These Cyclopses are immune to all attacks made by players without Resonance, and can be defeated more efficiently with greater stacks. Apart from that, these Cyclops units pose no threat to the overall layout of the encounter except for their role as fellow add units.
