Glass Exemplars are unique Minotaur frames encountered in the Gauntlet of VIII reimagining of the Templar boss. Sacrificial fodder for the agent of the Oracles, these units are essential to be eliminated in the boss encounter.

Gameplay

After a short period of time when Unobserved Chronons are dunked into the Vex Relays, these Minotaur units will join the assault on the Relays in an effort to sacrifice and unleash Volatile Penitence against the Fireteam. They can only be killed by attacks from the Aegis. However, upon the destruction of their immune shield, the Aegis bearer will be afflicted with Fragmenting Timestreams, which diminishes the necessary abilities of the Aegis for the afflicted wielder, requiring it to be taken up by another Guardian.

Trivia

• These units bear a strong resemblance to Atheon, Time's Conflux.
