Forge of Eternity is a Dungeon released for all players with the New Light experience on March 11, 2022.

Following the destruction of much of the Vex's key minds on Venus, as well as the work done within the Obsidian Acropolis, the Guardians, at the behest of Alana Reyn, would make a push on one of the Vex's last strongholds within the Ishtar Sink, the recently activated Forge of Eternity. Confronted by Descendants and the Vex they have empowered, Guardians must press through the new weapons and tech of the Vex in order to snuff the flames of the Forge and ensure the Vex cannot be improved by the new Mind at the forge's heart.

Objectives

• Find an Entrance
  • Cut your way through jungle flora and Vex alike in order to enter the Vex structure.
• Build the Spire
  • Stand your ground against the Vex defenders, and their enhanced allies, as you construct your key into the complex.
• Drain the Anvils
  • These specialized confluxes are the source of Vex empowerment, as well as the energy for the barrier. Bleed them of their atemporal power.
• Pass through the Superstructure
  • Chart a path through the perilous, time-locked platforms and sheer ledges of the superstructure. Watch your footing.
• Cross the Chasm
  • Power up the transit system so that you may ford the insurmountable gap ahead.
• Crush the Enhanced Frame
  • Confront the Vex in your path to open the way to the forge. Watch for it's experimental munitions.
• Delve into the Forge
  • Reach the heart of the Vex forge, while continuing to exploit the power of the Anvils to your advantage.
• Destroy the Forgemind
  • Quench the forge's flames. Destroy the Descendant mind overseeing the forge.
