The Blight Sentinels are unique Elite taken combatants encounter during Exotic Mission "Derealize". They appear as both Dire Centurions and Dire Captains and are tasked with protecting Vrhiisk, Seeker of Power.

Gameplay

During the Vrhiisk, Seeker of Power segment of Exotic Mission "Derealize", six Dire Centurion versions of the Blighted Sentinel will spawn upon the initial confrontation with Vrhiisk. After all six are defeated, two Taken Conduits will spawn, once the player defeats them and deposits their Blighted Eyes, Vrhiisk will become unshielded. Once sufficient damage is done to Vrhiisk, six Dire Captain versions of the Blighted Sentinel will spawn. Once again a pair of Taken Conduits will spawn as a result of their defeat, the encounter will then proceed as normal once the second set of Blighted Eyes are deposited. Neither version of the Taken Sentinel functions any differently to their original counterparts.
