Of note is the Devil Walker's impressive ability to surmount terrain usually impassible to heavy artillery. Due to its "limbs", the Devil Walker, while slow, can also position itself in unusual and advantageous positions. For example, during the Assault on [[Hellmouth]], several Devil Walkers were able to climb the high peaks of the Lunar mountains surrounding the base and pummel the inhabitants with long-range fire, aided by the extreme elevation afforded to them.  
The Devil Walker is armored with thick plating, making it highly resistant to small arms fire. The segments on its legs can be blown off by sustained fire, however, and if the Walker itself sustains enough damage it will be forced to pause and vent excess heat through a forward-mounted heat sink.

A Devil Walker

The Devil Walker [1] is a vehicle used by the Fallen. Equipped with an impressive armament, the Devil Walker makes use of a chin-mounted machinegun for anti-personnel purposes while its main gun is a powerful top-mounted swiveling cannon that fires high-velocity rounds with explosive force. They are capable of being deployed via Fallen shuttles through low-altitude drops.[1]

The Devil Walker is armored with thick plating, making it highly resistant to small arms fire. The segments on its legs can be blown off by sustained fire, however, and if the Walker itself sustains enough damage it will be forced to pause and vent excess heat through a forward-mounted heat sink.
