Naksis, Devil Baron is a Fallen Baron from the House of Devils, who is encountered in the Strike, The Devils' Lair.[1] Leading the Devils in the Refinery to prevent the Fireteam of Guardians from breaching the security mesh layer barring the path to The Blast.
Gameplay
Naksis is seen in the final wave of the Hack the Mesh Generator, acting as the source of the Mesh’s stability. Much like most Major Captains, Naksis wields a Shrapnel Launcher for ranged combat, teleports to evade gunfire, and uses a Arc Absorption shield for extra protection. Despite this, he is very easy to defeat if at a much powerful level, but he can summon Fallen for backup and is slightly resilient. After he is killed, the Mesh Layer will deactivate, allowing the team to move towards The Blast.
Trivia
- While Naksis is seen leading the House of Devils' Fallen, he wears a blue cloak and has the emblem of the House of Winter. He is also listed in-game as belonging to the House of Winter via killcam.
- Naksis is the first Baron to appear in Destiny.
- Naksis was the first Fallen observed belonging to one House while working for another that the player has encountered.
- This may have been added to tease the appearance of other Fallen Houses.
- There was a common bug where Naksis would spawn without his weapon being visible, yet still functional.
