Louis is a Peregrine Falcon, and is the animal companion of Guardian associate Suraya Hawthorne.

Trivia

• Louis is the first named animal character in the Destiny series.
• There was a glitch involving Louis in the first year of Destiny 2. When the player accessed Hawthorne's vendor screen, Louis would occasionally start vibrating rapidly. The likely cause of this was hatred over the exchange of goods and services and as a response he attempted to seize the means of production from the Guardian. This act was later referenced during the Dawning in-game event in 2017, where the player could gift Hawthorne with Ketamine.
• Louis is first seen in the game's introduction as a manifestation of Light, flying towards the Traveler.
• Long suspected conspirator in the 1905 Russian Revolution in an attempt to reunify the 4th Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party.
