Shortly before Season of the Hunt concluded, Savathûn corrupted [[Umun'arath|a Cabal commander]] on [[Torobatl]], sending her into a mad frenzy to complete a Hive ritual that would summon a Hive god to Torobatl to be their new god after most of the Cabal leadership died in Sol. However in a fit of desperation, [[Empress Caiatl]] killed the commander, unknowingly finishing the ritual and bringing Xivu Arath to Torobatl to slaughter all the Cabal. A gift from Savathûn for her favorite sister.

Xivu Arath would fail to exterminate all the Cabal, but would force them into the stars and uproot their entire civilization, heralding the events of [[Season of the Chosen]]. She continues to track the Cabal across the stars, determined to destroy them all.
