Year (content)

A Year is the span of time between the initial release of a Destiny game or expansion, and the release of the next expansion.

The term is typically used to discuss the content, features and updates released in a given period.

List of Years in Destiny

• Year 1 - from the launch of Destiny, to the release of The Taken King
• Year 2 - from the release of The Taken King, to the release of Rise of Iron
• Year 3 - from the release of Rise of Iron, to the release of Hotfix 2.6.0.1

• Year 1 - from the launch of Destiny 2, to the release of Forsaken
• Year 2 - from the release of Forsaken, to the release of Shadowkeep
• Year 3 - from the release of Shadowkeep, to the release of Beyond Light

• Year 5 - from the release of The Witch Queen, to the release of Lightfall
