Riftwardens are a type of Captains and Knights encountered during Onslaught.

Gameplay

The Riftwardens are encountered every 6th wave of the activity within the Pyramid, guarding the rift at the end of the room. They possess an immunity shield and are aided by Fallen or Hive allies. When the fireteam arrives within the Pyramid, they must slay 3 Sparkhoarders to spawn a spark and interact with it to open the door leading to the Riftwarden. Upon opening the door, Guardians must deliver the spark to the rift to eliminate the Riftwarden and the rest of the enemies to complete the encounter.
