Malignant Hobgoblins are a Major variant of Hobgoblin, in their Sol Collective design they are identifiable by their more oxidized frame compared to regular Hobgoblins. They can be found in place of Barrier Hobgoblins in lower difficulties of Override in the Arena Ops playlist. Additionally, they appear in the Argos, Planetary Core encounter in the Pantheon, where they drop Vex Craniums upon death.
